Light snowfall overnight added up to 7/10ths of an inch in the backyard of the Radio Mankato studios at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Meteorologist Michelle Margraf with the National Weather Service said, “The Mankato February snowfall record has been shattered.” She added that this will be a tough record to break.

Margraf explained that the previous record was 26.5 inches set in 1962 and so far in February 2019, we have received 41.9 inches.
