Minnesota resident Vince Lindstrom was in tears as the iconic, 850-year-old Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris burned yesterday. Lindstrom a world traveler, has visited the Cathedral many times in the past 35-years and calls the loss a cultural and historical tragedy.   Lindstrom is elated to learn it will be rebuilt and some of its most precious objects were saved including the world-famous 18th-century organ that boasts 8,000 pipes.

Lindstrom, former head of the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau, is a native of Lake Park, Minnesota and now lives in Maple Grove.
