Starting next Monday (July 27th), face masks will be required for all visitors at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Airport spokesman Patrick Hogan says the penalty for not complying…

“It’s enforceable as a misdemeanor which is up to a thousand dollar fine or up to 90 days in jail, but obviously our focus is not on fining, it’s on trying to get people to comply.”

Hogan says the decision was made for the safety of travelers. He says masks and hand sanitizer will be available to visitors throughout the airport.
