Heading into fall, Governor Tim Walz is urging Minnesotans to double down in their efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19.

“We are not out of the woods, and I think for many of us, as we transition to fall, I have to be candid with all of you, this was a time that, six months ago it was my hope that we would be back to doing all of those things we talked about, going to the state fair, watching high school football, gathering to watch the Gophers on Saturday, all of those things, well the virus has not allowed us to do that.”

Walz is reminding Minnesotans to wear masks and maintain social distance–especially in small group gatherings with family and friends.
