As many Minnesota students get ready for distance and hybrid learning, Minnesota Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) Bao Vang says:

“Online learning will play a big role this year as we all adjust to the new normal, BBB urges parents to watch of risks to your child’s online safety and it’s just a few simple steps to keep them safe online so they can avoid being easy targets for online fraud.”

Vang is encouraging parents to know what their children are doing online–and to keep track of social media sites and accounts. And she says it’s a good idea for parents to use parental controls if necessary, especially for younger children.
