Most Minnesota students are getting ready for the first day of school tomorrow (TUE). State Education Commissioner Mary Cathryn Ricker has this message for them:

“Students are experiencing something the adults in their lives haven’t experienced and as an adult, the adults in your lives absolutely have their best interest at heart and we are making decisions to keep you safe.”

Ricker says the goal is to keep kids healthy and “on a path to success.” Students across the state are returning to class either in person, from home or some combination of both.
