The numbers are in for Mankato’s annual spring clean-up, which was moved to August.

Commander Dan Schisel says 263.9 tons of garbage were collected, 48 tons of scrap iron, 12.5 semi loads of electronics and 201 pounds of medication.

Compared to last year…

Schisel says, “The amount of garbage collected is down, as is the scrap iron, the electronics collected is up and the pounds of medication is way up.”
