State officials conducted compliance checks at 167 establishments the last two weekends seeing if those businesses were abiding by COVID-19 executive orders. Dan Huff is an assistant commissioner with the Minnesota Department of Health.

88 of the 167 establishments had no violations. 31 of the businesses were referred for follow-up inspections.

Compliance checks were conducted in Mankato, St. Peter, Waseca, Faribault and New Ulm the weekend of August 28th and 29th.
