A book out today from Bob Woodward has been stirring up controversy after President Trump told the veteran journalist in February that he deliberately downplayed the coronavirus. As for what impact this may have on voters in November, Hamline University political expert David Schultz says…

“The ramifications will be that it won’t change the mind of hard-core Trump supporters or Trump opponents, where it is going to have an impact, I think, is among part of his base who are the elderly.”

Trump says he’s a “cheerleader for the country” and he didn’t want to create a panic. Many are criticizing Woodward for not sharing details of his Trump interview sooner.
