…Minnesota activists in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, urging President Biden during his visit there to halt construction on the Enbridge Line 3 pipeline, as he did with Keystone XL. Mysti Babineau says the pipeline will go through Objibwe treaty territory:
“It’s gonna cut through the Mississippi headwaters. It is also inflicting unspeakable harms on Indigenous communities.”
Line 3 backers say the pipeline has had one of the most rigorous environmental reviews ever, and is bringing thousands of jobs to economically-struggling northern Minnesota.
