Workers at Minnesota’s largest meat-processing plants who filed for worker’s compensation after contracting COVID-19 say they haven’t been paid yet. The facilities where some of the state’s biggest outbreaks have been have filed 935 claims. Local worker’s compensation attorney John Malone with Malone & Atchison says it seems the issue is that meat plant managers are applying a blanket policy, rather than individually judging each case.
