Minnesota is one of the few states to not have any residents charged with a crime in connection to the January 6th riots at the U.S. Capitol. That’s according to a USA Today database which finds that 304 people from 42 states have been criminally charged from the insurrection. Some of those people, who were part of pro-Trump supporters that stormed the building as Congress certified President Biden’s electoral victory, were found to be a part of extremist groups in the nation. CBS News reports that Texas has the most residents charged so far at 29 people.
