As the warm weather continues, more of us are cooling off in the water. The DNR’s Lisa Dugan recommends:
“You know whether you’re heading to the beach or to the pool it’s always a smart idea to designate a water watcher and what that means is that there’s one person who is strictly eyes on the water watching the people who are in the water.”
Dugan says the water watcher needs to put away all distractions–including phones–and keep a lookout for trouble in the water. She’s urging Minnesotans to put safety first when heading to the beach or pool.
