Thanks to the Blue Earth County Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP), one local school will be able to implement many new and/or improved health and wellness opportunities for its students.

The Loyola Catholic School Wellness Committee identified numerous ways to offer and promote health and wellness through the appropriated funds.  Age-appropriate recess equipment for preschool students, a healthy snack cart for elementary students, additional wellness education courses for high school students, updated water fountains for students and staff, and classrooms adapted to allow for more physical movement are all ways the funds will be used.
