(Chicago, IL) — Jussie Smollett has been found guilty of staging his own racist and homophobic attack in Chicago. The former “Empire” actor, who is Black and gay, was convicted yesterday on five of the six counts he faced. He had claimed he was attacked in January of 2019 by two men yelling racist and anti-gay remarks, wearing MAGA hats. The jury deliberated for more than nine hours. The judge has allowed him to go free until his next scheduled court hearing. That is set for January 27th. He faces up to three years in prison, but most legal experts say it’s more likely he’ll be placed on probation and be ordered to perform community service.
(Fayetteville, AR) — Reality TV star Josh Duggar is guilty of collecting a huge stash of child pornography. A federal jury in Arkansas returned the verdict yesterday. He now faces up 20-years in prison. Duggar starred on the TLC show “19 Kids And Counting.” His father, Jim Bob Duggar, is running for a state senate seat in Arkansas.

The “19 Kids and Counting” alums took to their website to say the entire “ordeal has been very grievous.” They said their hearts and prayers are with anyone who has been harmed through Child Sexual Abuse Material. The couple noted in the days ahead they will surround Josh’s wife and their children with love and support. The 33-year-old now faces up 20-years in prison.

It’s called “And Just Like That” and features three of the four best friends, Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte. The first scene deals with the question on nearly everyone’s mind, “Where’s Samantha?” There was concern that the show would kill off the beloved character when the actress who plays her, Kim Cattrall, refused to do the series in the midst of a long-simmering feud with Sarah Jessica Parker who portrays Carrie. But, it turns out, Samantha is missing because she’s moved to London. It’s unclear how her absence will impact the show which will air new episodes every Thursday night.
(Houston, TX) — Rapper Travis Scott is breaking his silence on the Astroworld concert tragedy in Houston. Ten people were trampled to death and hundreds more were injured. Scott told talk show host Charlamagne Tha God it’s been an emotional roller coaster. He says he wants to be there for his fans and their families and “have conversations” with them. The sit down comes just days after the star denied liability for the deaths and requested the dismissal of one of many lawsuits filed against him.

Henry Winkler played Arthur Fonzarelli on the sitcom Happy Days, which ran from 1974 to 1984. His cool biker character was famous for wearing a leather jacket and riding a motorcycle. Now Bonhams auction house in Los Angeles says Fonzie’s leather jacket, jeans and T-shirt have sold at auction for over 75-thousand dollars. Fonzie’s 1949 Triumph motorcycle sold for over 230-thousand dollars.
(Anaheim, CA) — Toontown’s Jessica Rabbit is ditching her iconic look as she takes on a new gig. The sultry cartoon singer now donning a detective’s trenchcoat and fedora, covering up her signature sparkly strapless red dress. It’s being done for Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin attraction in Disneyland. The theme park announced in September that the ride would be getting a story change with the sexy starlet taking over the lead role as the newest private detective in Mickey’s Toontown. Roger Rabbit’s toon wife was removed from the ride while it was being updated.

This Saturday is the return of SantaCon, described as a non-political, nonsensical gathering of Santas for a day of drinking and raising money for charity. Many bars across Manhattan are participating and Santas have to donate at least ten-dollars to charity at the SantaCon website to participate.
