— Jared Leto’s Marvel debut is on hold. Sony pushed back the release of “Morbius” to April. According to Entertainment Tonight, the film was originally set to come out on January 28th but will now be released on the big screens on April 1st. In the film, Leto stars as a Dr. Michael Morbius, who is Marvel’s Living Vampire. There’s speculation that the decision was made because “Spiderman: No Way Home” is still raking in the dough at box offices across the globe.
— Khloe Kardashian is getting an apology from ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson for fathering a child with another woman. The 30-year-old basketball star took a paternity test that showed he had a child with Maralee Nichols. Her baby was born on December 1st. He apologized to everyone who he hurt or disappointed throughout the ordeal, including Khloe who he was dating at the time the baby was conceived.
— “The View’s” Whoopi Goldberg is recovering after testing positive for COVID-19. Her co-host Joy Behar revealed the diagnoses to their audience, saying Whoopi will probably be back next week. Whoopi is vaccinated and boosted and her co-stars say she’s experiencing very, very mild symptoms. The show may start to use a semi-remote format in the coming weeks as COVID-19 cases continue surging.
— Jimmy Fallon says he tested positive for COVID-19 over the holidays. The “Tonight Show” host is fully vaccinated and boosted, but received the positive result right before Christmas at NBC headquarters. He shared a photo of himself sitting in a class encased room when it was confirmed he had the virus. He says he was able to spend Christmas with his family since they also came down with COVID. Fallon says he’s happy to be fully vaccinated since he had mild symptoms.
— Betty White’s agent is clearing up rumors surrounding the 99-year-old’s death. Jeff Witjas says people are claiming her death was related to getting the coronavirus booster shot three days earlier. He says it is simply not true, adding the beloved “Golden Girl” died of natural causes at her Los Angeles home Friday morning.
— Fans witnessed a shocker during “The Bachelor’s” season 26 premiere. Clayton Echard [[ ek-erd ]] is this season’s leading man, but his journey may already be off to a rocky start. Monday night saw the 28-year-old get rejected by one woman before the limo entrances even began. Another woman walked away before the rose ceremony. And so now, after another dramatic start to the season, Clayton is left to date 22 women.
— Andy Cohen is still taking heat for his drunken New Year’s Eve celebration. Cohen apologized for slamming the team behind ABC’s “Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve Show,” which is hosted by Ryan Seacrest. He made his comments during his holiday special on CNN with Anderson Cooper. Speaking on his radio show Monday, Cohen said he likes Ryan Seacrest and that he “really regrets” calling his team a “group of losers.”
