The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is warning consumers to beware of “pop-up” COVID testing sites.

“In some cases in our reports, people are visiting these sites registering, showing up, giving over their personal information like social security numbers, credit card information, health information even, and then end up not receiving the results.”

Vang says just recently the BBB joined an investigation into the Center for COVID Control, which locally has sites in Minneapolis, St. Paul and Eagan and has received numerous complaints and negative reviews from consumers.
