(St. Paul, MN) — State leaders are saying COVID-19 frontline workers will not be getting their bonus checks for about another three months. Governor Walz’s administration is saying the checks will take about ten-to-12 weeks to be processed and received by pandemic workers. An application time for the checks is expected to be open for 45 days where state residents can confirm they each are eligible given the criteria for the one-time payments. A total of five-hundred-million-dollars is going to the checks for workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
