(St. Croix Falls, WI) — A Prior Lake man is facing charges in connection with a stabbing spree on the Apple River in western Wisconsin. Nicolae Mis appeared in court yesterday to answer a first-degree murder charge and four counts of first-degree attempted homicide. Prosecutors say the 52-year-old engineer was on the right with his wife and friends when a dispute escalated and he lashed out against a group of younger people. Seventeen-year-old Isaac Schuman was stabbed to death and four others were seriously wounded. Miu is due back in court August 12th.
