Black Friday is considered the kickoff to the holiday shopping season. Gone are the days of waiting in line at midnight to flock to your favorite retailer when you can buy everything with the click of a button. Kimberly Palmer of NerdWallet has some good news…

“Well the supply chain issue is a little bit of a silver lining this year because unlike last year where everything was backed up and delayed this year that’s only the case for a select few categories certain electronics for example and so it’s actually going to be easier than it was last year to find what you’re looking for.”

Palmer adds that while prices are higher overall, retailers have already launched the holiday deal season, spreading out discounts and sales over a longer period of time versus having to wait till Black Friday.
