The Famous “I Believe In Nashville” Mural Survives Despite Devastating Tornadoes

Nashville was struck by a tornado early Tuesday morning, that destroyed part of the city. Despite the devasting disaster, a famous landmark mural still stands even though the building its in is mostly gone. The "I Believe In Nashville" mural is located on the side of the Basement East music venue. The building was hit by the tornado and was mostly destroyed, but the mural was still intact. Country Music Singer Dead After Being Hit by Car

Country music singer Lindsey Lagestee has died after being hit by a car. The singer was on her way to perform at a show on Valentine's Day when she was hit by a car as she was crossing the street. Lagestee, 25, was rushed to the Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, where she died of her injuries a few days later. Her death has ripped a hole in the Chicago-area country music community, as well as the Dixie Crush fanbase. Country music star, Luke Bryan, gave a loving performance last night of the national anthem at Bridgestone arena. The event was for "Hockey Has Heart Congenital Defect Awareness Night" in which he sang in commemoration for his late passing niece, Sadie Brett Boyer, who had passed away in 2017 due to Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). On February 10th, 1967 Glen Campbell's seventh studio album By The Time I Get To Phoenix hit number 1 on the U.S. Country Music Charts. The title track, written by Jimmy Webb, was originally recorded by Johnny Rivers in 1965. Although Glen's version of the song became the more popular version, hitting number 2 on the country music charts in 1968. The song also earned him two grammy's, one for Best Male Vocal Performance and one for Best Contemporary Male Solo Vocal Performance.
