Vice President Kamala Harris says “prayers are not enough” after the police shooting death of Daunte Wright in Brooklyn Center. On Twitter, the VP said Wright “should still be with us” and the country “needs justice and healing.” Wright was shot and killed by a police officer Sunday during a traffic stop, and the officer was identified as 26-year veteran Kim Potter.   Harris argued Wright’s family needs to know why their child is dead, adding “they deserve answers.”   His death has sparked consecutive nights of protests in the city.
