Top officials say they’re still ready for any trouble, even though they’re winding down “Operation Safety Net” and reinforcements are headed home to Greater Minnesota. Hennepin County Sheriff Dave Hutchinson:

“We’re not sending everybody home. We have plans in place so if these issues, we will be there for the citizens of Minneapolis, the state, and of course Hennepin County.”

Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo says to business owners whose windows remain boarded up:

“We still will be there for them. We’ll still be there to protect them. We will still be there to respond to their calls.”
