Heat is on the way for much of Minnesota over the next several days and that can cause a strain on the state’s electrical grid. Xcel Energy’s John Marshall says they always look ahead at possible weather conditions that could impact customers.
“We’ve seen some real hot stretches this summer. We are always planning, always forecasting. Our crews are prepared whether it is summer or winter. We’re ready 24/7 to respond to any sort of issues that arise.”
Marshall says the Xcel Energy app is a quick way to check the status of any outage in your area and report any issues that may come up in your home.
