9/8/21 Entertainment News -- Spectators will be allowed back at this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Last year was a TV-only event due to the pandemic. Macy's says it will work closely with the City and State of New York, along with the Health Department to ensure everyone who attends does so safely. 9/2/21 Entertainment News -- Britney Spears will not face criminal charges after her housekeeper accused her of battery. The Ventura County, California District Attorney's Office said there was insufficient evidence that a crime had occurred. They noted the lack of injury to the housekeeper or damage to the phone. An argument had allegedly broken out between Spears and a housekeeper after the housekeeper failed to bring her dogs home from the vet. However, because of COVID-19, Dow was in the E.R. for 24 hours while waiting for a hospital bed. The 76-year-old is best known for playing Wally Cleaver on the American sitcom from 1957 through 1963.
